CONJECT sponsors Constructing Excellence Awards

CONJECT is sponsoring the Integration and Collaborative Working category of the 2012 Constructing Excellence Awards, which will be presented in London on 30 November.

Constructing Excellence is the only pan-industry UK construction organisation, drawing its members from across the sector, from clients, consultants and contractors through to specialist suppliers and manufacturers. Since its formation in 2005, it has been promoting collaborative working and remains charged with driving the change agenda in construction.

Throughout 2012, regional Constructing Excellence Awards events have been held across the country with the winners going forward to the national event in London. The awards celebrate and promote excellence in construction across 12 different categories.

With CONJECT Project Control tools supporting several of the projects aiming to win awards, we decided to sponsor the national award for Integration and Collaborative Working. CONJECT will be joining the judging panel and presenting the award to the winners on the night (and if you want to join us, you can book your table here).

Our sponsorship renews a historical association with Constructing Excellence dating back to the early 2000s when CONJECT’s UK operation (then known as BIW) was involved with the organisation’s predecessors, the Design Build Foundation (DBF) and Movement for Innovation (M4I). Both these bodies pushed forward the industry changes recommended by the seminal 1994 Latham Report, Constructing the Team – whose author Sir Michael Latham was, for some years, deputy chairman of BIW.
