Mace win top prizes at Building Magazine Awards 2013

Building Magazine Awards 2013The achievements of CONJECT’s enterprise client Mace were recognised recently when they won two of the top prizes at the prestigious Building Magazine Awards.

Building magazine, the “flagship” publication for UK construction professionals, held its 2013 award presentation ceremony in London on 18th April to celebrate the best people, projects and organisations from 2012. The awards included 17 different categories of which dozens of nominations had been submitted by the readers of the magazine.


Construction delivery experts Mace were nominated in the” Project/Construction Management firm of the year” category and were also in the running for the top prize of “Project of the year” through their role as project manager/main contractor for The Shard, London Bridge Quarter.

The award winners were decided by a select panel of seasonedMace PM CM firm of the year 2013 industry experts and the prize giving ceremony took place at the luxurious Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London.  Mace won both categories beating off stiff competition from the likes of Turner and Townsend and Capita Symonds in the project management category, whilst in the “Project of the year” category the Shard won against high profile projects including the new FA centre of Excellence and Westfield Stratford City.
