We are proud to announce that the use of our conjectPC collaborative software solution on the Connect Plus project won the ‘Best use of IT in a construction project’ award at the Construction Computing Awards 2014.

The award was given for the deployment of conjectPC on the ambitious programme of maintenance and improvement works being managed by Connect Plus on the M25, Europe’s busiest motorway.

Each year’s maintenance and upgrade projects are budgeted and scheduled by the Connect Plus commercial team.  From this plan, an average of 100 packages of work are created to be carried out by the network of contractor and sub-contractor partners.  The annual net value of these projects is approximately £50m and the funds for the projects are requisitioned from Connect Plus’s annual investment portfolio.

Connect Plus are using conjectPC to manage financial control over this complex programme of works and in 9 months of operational use 150 users have used the software to help certify more than 400 payments, averaging around 40 per month, totalling £39 million across 89 packets of work.

To find out more please see the case study detailing the use of conjectPC by Connect Plus.
